FilmyFly is a movie discovery and review app. This policy explains what the app stores, what it sends to third parties, and the choices available to you.
1. Information stored on your device
The following is saved locally and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.

2. Information collected by third parties
FilmyFly does not operate its own servers and does not collect personal information directly. The services below operate inside the app under their own privacy policies.
Google AdMob (advertising)
The app is free and supported by advertising. AdMob may collect device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, and interaction data to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted.
- Where required by law, you are asked for advertising consent when you first open the app.
- You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
- How Google uses data from apps that use its services
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (Google)
- Analytics records anonymous usage events, such as which screens are opened, to understand how the app is used. It is not linked to a name or email, because the app has no accounts.
- Crashlytics sends a report when the app crashes, containing the error, the device model, and the OS version. This is used only to diagnose and fix faults.
- Firebase privacy and security
TMDB (The Movie Database)
Movie information, artwork, cast details and reviews are requested from the TMDB API. Those requests include your IP address, as any internet request does. FilmyFly does not send TMDB any information about you, your watchlist, or your searches beyond the search term itself.

Google Play (in-app review)
The app may ask Google Play to display its standard review prompt. Google controls whether the prompt appears; FilmyFly is not told what you rate or write.
3. Permissions

4. Your choices
- Notifications — turn on or off at any time in your device's app settings.
- Ad personalisation — adjust in Settings → Google → Ads, or reset your advertising ID.
- Stored data — clearing the app's storage or uninstalling removes your watchlist, searches and settings permanently.
5. Children
FilmyFly is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Movie information comes from TMDB and may include titles intended for adult audiences.
6. Data retention and security
Data stored on your device remains until you delete it. Data held by Google and TMDB is retained under their own policies. Because FilmyFly has no account system and no server, there is no profile of you for us to store, expose, or be asked to delete.
7. Streaming
FilmyFly is a discovery and review app. It does not host, stream or provide films. The Watch button opens a film's trailer, which may play in the YouTube app.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the app develops. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected in the app's store listing.
